Interesting Red-tailed Hawk found at the west end of the Yakima, WA, airport. One raptor expert thinks it might be an Eastern RTHA, (Buteo jamaicensis borealis) or one from the population in the NE U.S. and eastern and central Canada that is a proposed new subspecies (B. j. abieticola). Jan. 6, 2016.
